Well, I am officially the mother of a THREE YEAR OLD.
That just sounds weird.
I remember it like it was yesterday when... I found out I was pregnant.
... & when she was born.
I wish I could go back to that day one more time...
to hold her so small, just one more time.
I know one day I will be looking back saying "I wish I could go back to when she was three".
We had a little dinner at our home tonight.. in honor of our big three year old.
so we decorated a bit.
Maddie's favorites - pizza & salad- were on the menu..
and a yummy red velvet birthday cake with chocolate icing & princess sprinkles.
(of course baking a cake requires the cutest of aprons)
Maddie loved every minute of her 'happy birthday song'.
& She was a pro this year when it came to blowing her candles out.
I cannot wait to see her face when we enter the Magic Kingdom.
It will be better than the first time.

sweet sweet sweet! i still think of my oldest as 3...he'll be FIVE in a few weeks :( Can't wait to see pictures of magic kingdom!! Happy Birthday to your little girl.

Time does fly as you are nurturing and growing your "little garden". My husband and I always marvel at how much our children grow and change right before our very eyes. It is very bitter sweet.
This almost made me cry. My guy is 3 in a matter of weeks, and I can't quite believe it, either! Love your homemade "Happy Birthday" garland.
