I made caramel apples this afternoon.. I was surprised how easy it was! 

I had my sister there with me to help-- so it went fast too!

Today was a beautiful Fall day! I finally had some time to get the girls dressed up and do some fun Halloween pictures. My sister tagged along for some of the fun too.

I should mention that I put together their costumes all by myself.. made the tutus [they need a little touched up].. tie dyed the tights & put together the 'suspenders'- I found the adorable little red flowers at Joann Fabrics.. I have a few final touches for their costumes but I have plenty of time for that!

pumpkins & popcorn.

Today was a perfect Saturday! 

We woke up bright and early for a Breast Cancer Awareness walk.. It was a perfect Fall morning.

We hurried out the door so of course I forgot my camera- I wish I would have grabbed it-- there was so much PINK & so many people there for such a great cause.

This afternoon my mom & I took the girlies to the pumpkin patch. 

I wanted to get some cute Fall pictures of the girls, so I took full advantage of this beautiful day.

[& so did my husband by going golfing]

I didn't realize how many pictures I wanted to blog until I uploaded them all!

but I loved them all- I had to throw them up real quick-

I LOVE how the orange from the pumpkins just POPS!!

 some nice gentleman offered to take our picture-- of course Mads wouldn't smile!

Well, I finally broke down and had to take my camera into Maddie's ballet class.

Sometimes, like today, they are in the back studio & there is no little 'parents window'

-so I just crouched down in the doorway and snapped away.

 

Maddie kept it pretty serious today..
