new camera fun.

Today I picked up my new camera, well used, but new to me..

it is a Canon 5D.

I'm so happy & excited- it is such a big step up [professionally] from my rebel.. don't get me wrong that is a great camera but I needed something more professional.

I didn't have a chance to play with it in natural light today but did stick my flash on and play around with the girls after they got out of the bath.

They were squeaky clean in their new camis & getting ready for bed!

I love getting a box of Gap kids stuff at the front door out of nowhere ;]

Can't wait to play more with it tomorrow.

well.. I can tell you one thing, I at least have the cutest ballerina!

this smile is no lie friends...

she was so happy.

&& these eyes are no lie either..

.. not retouched at all.. they are so blue!

she played in her leotard for hours.

I finally had to take her shoes off!

of course I put her hair in a bun too.

& she practiced her dance steps.

Wedding Album & Watermelon fun.

My wedding album came in this week.

It is more beautiful that I could have ever imagined it.

I have looked at is probably 10 times already.. with tears in my eyes each time.

It's amazing what perfect memories can be captured in a photo.

This afternoon Josie was enjoying some watermelon, I couldn't resist taking some cute & juicy pictures..

Maddie woke up from her nap to come outside & play too..

Daddy duty.

Some good friends of ours came over last night [Bry grew up with Daddy, Bo & me with Mommy, Lauren] they have a little girl named Olive, I'm sure you have seen her around the blog or my other blog..

 Bry has been dying to get the slip n slide out with the girls, so the Daddies had a little playdate..

 it was a big hit..

They will be best friends! Can't wait to watch them grow together.

This morning I could feel Fall on its way.. the air was chilly!

 It makes me so happy to think of a season changing.. that is my favorite..

We have seen all the school buses out & Maddie is getting ready to start Ballet class in 2 weeks.

Soon I can break out my boots & the Halloween decorations and costumes!!

Until then.. enjoying every little moment left of summer.

I think its suppossed to get hot again next week- last week of pools open too, so I know where we will be!

bubble bath fun.

Friends, I am back again! After a little bit of a hectic day I can't believe I'm actually getting on here two times! I have one child fast asleep & the other on her way..

after a looong day in the sun the girls & MYSELF dozed off at about 4:00pm..

even though it was just a small nap, I could pretty much guarantee they would be up a little late tonight.

I have been promising Maddie a bubble bath & since Daddy [who usually always does bathtime] was working in the yard I thought it was the perfect night for one!
