Busy [alli] Bee.

I have been so busy this month. I wasn't ready for the response I have gotten for my photography. I am loving every minute of it though. Learning something new everyday & growing with every session. Tonight sealed the deal, although I already knew, but the session I had tonight really did it for me.

We are leaving for San Diego on Saturday, super excited to see all of our family for our [2nd] family reunion :]

I'm making our Price is Right shirts [for my cousin, my brother-in-law and I] tomorrow! I washed the shirts today & have everything ready to get started!

Ok, I am obsessed with this adorable clothing line Tea Collection. I am pretty sure I need to start saving so I can get the girls some cute fall staples from there.

Wednesday is the only day I don't have to work at night- I am planning on LAUNDRY & PACKING all day everyday this week.. and hoping to sneak in a day or few hours at the pool.

Anybody else watching Big Brother this season?? I got hooked on the show a couple seasons ago and now I can't get enough! I am so into it, my husband probably thinks I'm nuts, I just talk to the TV like I'm in the room with all of them. 

The girlies & I went to Joann Fabrics today, with lots of coupons in hand. I also raided the clearance aisle and got some great buys! - the cutest magnets for $.10 !! some adorable ribbon to make bows for the girls for $.50 & a little hot pink rug for $7!

After bathtime the girls and I had some fun running around.. yes Madeleine insisted on "being a flower".

they are so lucky to have each other...

& I'm so lucky to have them..

Notice Maddie's baby in the pictures above [not to be mistaken for Baby Donna- this baby is new], well I asked her what she was going to name her baby and she told me "Baby Gaga like Lady Gaga.." I'm not kidding friends, this is one clever two year old.

And Sweet Josephine.. today I saw her in the corner playing quietly, although I couldn't see the front of her. I walked around the corner and came back about a minute later and noticed she was sitting there chugging my diet coke.. it was a fountain drink and she looves a straw.. and apparently diet coke.

We had another fun day at the pool today. I had to pull out my camera and snap some pictures of the girls eating their apples.. the boys were busy in pool.

of course Josie chewing on something that's not food.

I am literally counting down the days until our family reunion in California!

It is with my husband's father's side of the family, my first reunion and we have lots of fun things already planned! Like I said.. counting down.. 16 days!!

My best friend, her husband, and their 9 month old baby are staying with us this week. We are soo happy to have them here and of course I'm soo happy that I can take pictures of Lily.

cherry crunch.

I made my aunt's "family famous" cherry crunch yesterday for Bry's birthday. It was a big hit & one of the easiest things to make- I highly reccommend this one.

you will need canned cherry filling- (1 lg can or 2 sm cans)
1 box white cake mix
1/2 (or 1 stick) butter
1 tbsp lemon juice

put cherries in pan and sprinkle lemon juice over them..

Mix cake mix & butter until crumbly

(don't be afraid to use your hands)

(you can also add nuts into the topping- I did not)

Then plop the topping mix all over the cherries.

bake at 350degrees.

40-50 min until golden brown.

I didn't get a picture of it all done-

 but trust me it was beautiful & delicious..

Today was my husbands birthday.

We started the day by making some yummy cherry crunch.

then the girls and I took that and some balloons to his office to surprise him.

just the girls playing around this afternoon..

Maddie wanted to see Daddy after he mowed the grass..

.. and Josie really wanted to go out too..

I absolutely cannot wait until San Diego at the begining of August!! I'm looking forward to being with family & we have lots of fun things on the agenda.

tomorrow is my husband's [&his brother's] birthday, maybe the girlies have something special planned for them.

 last, but certainly not least, on Wednesday, my bffe Jessica & her family are coming in town from Las Vegas!!

b.u.s.y. day

AHH.. home sweet home. After a looong day it feels good to have my feet up and a quiet house. I had my first official wedding that I was a real photographer for today, well, helping a good friend shoot a wedding. It was so much fun & a great experience. I'm so glad she let me tag along! After today I am positive photography is the direction I want to take with my life & career. I can't wait to go through and edit them all this weekend. Or next week, I see how this can be very time consuming..

we went downtown to watch the fireworks from my husband's office. It was the first year we have taken the girls and they were troopers. Josie is barely ever up past 7:30pm and she was out until 11 tonight.. party animals. I'm hoping she sleeps in a little bit.. if not for her sake, mine!!

flower lollipops & backyard fun.

Today we just played outside in our blow-up pool. Always fun.. Josie doesn't like to stay in the pool but she of course still likes to play and splash in the water.

Maddie loves "swimming like a mermaid".

I found these two flower lollipops left over from Josie's birthday party.

I made the girls eat them outside, I can only imagine how sticky my floors would be if I let them inside.. the girlies were a mess.

but.. it made for a fun photo op.

..and ending with a couple pretty flowers from our yard..

we have such a fun but busy 4th of July weekend planned!! I'm sure I'll be popping in and out all weekend to share! Have a great weekend lovelies.
