They had a huge boucy in the front yard, it was a huge hit too. Maddie [in the middle in the top pic] had a blast and pretty much was in there the whole time with the big kids.

Projects.
I have been working on redoing our patio into a playroom for the girlies. I wanted to put some cute art work in there but didn't really want to spend any money on anything. I had $20 and went to Joann Fabrics to get some spray paint & look for a cheap chalk board. I found the perfect color and for only $0.97!!! So I got excited, but apparently they don't sell any chalkboards only the chalkboard paint. So I bought that for $6.99 and a big framed shadow box [not very deep though] from the clearance aisle.
I had these old cheap frames, don't even remember from where, so I spray painted them this cute light blue. I got the "art work" from the Eric Carle book The Lamb and the Butterfly. Unfortunatly our copy was already missing a couple of the pages from Maddie getting to it when she was a baby, but at least it came in handy and we can still enjoy the pretty pictures! I loved the way they turned out, what do you think?!
I can't wait to hang them and put together the chalk board!
Last night Maddie and I made some coffee filter butterflies. It was probably the easiest thing ever.
Color with markers, dry, pinch together and twist on some pipe cleaner.
I think I will hang them in the playroom :]
Last but not least I had to share this easy Asian recipe from Darby,
it was delish & made plenty of leftovers. As you can tell Maddie was excited for it..
xo.

Hello! I found your blog recently and I just wanted to say that I love it. You take BEAUTIFUL pictures and are so darn creative. :) I love those frames by the way - what a cool way to use a book that may have otherwise gone to the trash. I bet the girls love their play room!
