Fun in the Sun.

It was so warm today! Maddie was helping me water some flowers and she was dying to play the water. So I let her play in the sprinkler and splash around in the water this afternoon, and of course Josie joined in when she woke up. I know it's only April, but it was hot today! I even got a little sun-tan.

I took a few pictures while the girls were playing..

I was snapping the pictures right as Maddie was pouring the cold water on Josie..

Let's just say Josie was surprised & NOT happy about it.. but it was still cute.

Chalk, all over.

I got Josie's birthday party invitations all addressed and ready to go. I really can't believe that I'm planning her 1st birthday party already.
Yesterday I took the girls to get their pictures taken by our good friend Carmen [Blink of an Eye Photography]. She also did our wedding pictures. The girls did good considering they are both at ages where its hard to concentrate that long.
I have been cleaning out and organizing our patio room to make it into a play room. It is turning out to be Super cute & it's a big hit with the girls already. Hopefully after this weekend it will be done and I can share it.
We have babysitters for tomorrow night [it's so nice when you have babysitters that call YOU!] so I'm really looking forward to a long overdue date night with my hubby.
